Problems with Online FA

Entering my GM's bids tonight for free agency. I noticed a disturbing trend. Certain players (players that have been edited it seems) favor the last bid entered for them regardless of the offer. (These players weren't edited to be superstars or anything, moreso for names.)

This creates a HUGE problem as the player can't really decide which offer they really like. I tried entering based on money, length of contract and such, but that isn't always what the player is looking for. Sometimes he wants a specific team for whatever reason.

I don't run a team in this league, so I can't use it to get the players myself, but it seems unfair that this is built in this way. It shouldn't be up to me to determine who the player is going to favor. Is this just a glitch in the displaying of the favorite team? Will the player really chose the contract he likes the best?

The reason I noticed this is because I was just entering them alphabetically on team name. I can't use FTP because the BPLA uses a tier-based bid system to stop teams from being easily outbid when they are the favored team.

If this is the case the players are just going to choose the last bid entered, then I will have to go to another system for bids, and lose the opportunity to make the bidding system more realistic.

PLEASE, PLEASE IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THIS, please let me know what is going on, or how to correct it.

Are you doing them by hand, or doing it via FTP? FTP seems to work fine for me.

FTP doesn't work for the BPLA, because I use a system to ensure that favored contracts can't lose out. Owners submit a series of bids to up their contract offer if they are outbid. FTP would work if we simmed only one day at a time, but that isn't really feasible time-wise.
