Openers/Followers Use
Anyone know how to manage this? Is it left up to the Game Manager or is there a way you can set up certain guys to open a game for specific Followers?

How to use opener/follower?
I see a kind of setting in player strategy, but have no idea how to set this up for an online league with 7 day lineups. Please advise. Also, I see no online or in game OOTP20 manual anyplace.

the follower should be in the starting rotation. as far as i see you cannot designate an opener for a certain follower. i havent tested it with 7 day lineups yet but my thinking is that you just put the follower in the SP spot like normal, as long as the strategy is set for him to be a follower, an opener should still go

failed
nope tried that and it does not work
kinda got it to work, but my follower which is usually a SP came in in the 6th inning as the 3rd pitcher in game...………..can we designate them to always come in after the opener? Last edited by strzepeksc; 03-18-2019 at 02:32 PM. Reason: added comment |

I had a game where I turned a SP into a RP and set as a follower and put in a RP in the SP rotation with a pitch count of 30. Sure enough the follower RP took over in the middle of the 3rd but I forgot to set the pitch count and he blew the game in the bottom of the ninth.
