'Breaking' records

This should be fixed in future versions.

Whenever I have a player tie an all-time record in OOTP, I always see a news article that says they broke the record even though they only tied it. For instance, I have a starting pitcher that won 23 games last year and the previous record was 22. When he earned his 22nd victory, there was a heading that said he broke the record even though 8 players prior had won 22 games. Kind of annoying.

On a related note, I think it would be interesting if OOTP had a page somewhere that tracked players that were getting close to breaking records. Like a watch. It would be a nice touch.

I figured out why this is. When the game sorts tied records, it orders them in descending date order, with the most recent 1st and the oldest last. It should be ordered the other way around with the first player to say win 25 games listed first and as the record holder until a player wins 26 games, no matter how many players win 25 games.

Edit: It appears that it only lists them in this way on the single games record page, on the season record page they are listed alphabetically. Mr. Baseball, was your pitcher alphabetically 1st in the list of 22 game winners?

No, my pitcher's name is Steven Hembrow and there were several players with first names coming before 'S' and last names before 'H'.
