FHM14 - Historic Portraits-Facepack V1.0 (1967-68)
For all the historical mode fans here´s the download links for V1.0 of my Historical Portrait/Facepack.
FHM14 - Historic Portraits-…rar (24,21 MB) - uploaded.net Some Info: (1) This premier installment starts with the expansion season 1967-68 and covers every 67-68 database player except 4-5 where i couldn´t find any pic at all & all players from the 1968 Entry Draft. (2) All portraits are 118x150 and in portrait/Trading card style (see samples below), not player pics with transparent background - that means the pics are overlapping the teamlogo in the upper left corner - if you enjoy the historical modes with a full assortment of player photos i´d assume you can live with that little flaw. Although Jeff gave me valuable hints to make the teamlogo more visible, it´s just too much additional work for me as i´m planning to cover ALL players from 1947 - at least 1989 (3) If everything goes well V1.5 will come end of next week including all players up to the 1971-72 Entry Draft Here we go with some samples....

Thanks for this face pack the hard work you are putting in! This will make the game much more enjoyable for me and many others I'm sure. Where are you finding the player photos?

For the more prominent players of that era it´s simple - google them, choose the pic you like most -i always try to find the most neutral pic, means the less team connection on the pic, the better - and then it´s a bit cutting here, editing there. It really gets tricky for the lesser known players - sometimes you only find college or minor team photos and then resizing the pics begins Incredibly helpful for such a job are the following sites: Hockeydb.com -- Internet Hockey Database - Statistics, Logos, and Trading Cards Hockey Draft Central Elite Prospects (mostly for europeans of that era)

Trouble opening file
Feel like a kid who got a Christmas present, but can't open it. My little laptop ...running Windows 7 starter with a basic version of Paint, can't open the downloaded file. Getting this message: Not valid bitmap file or its format is not currently supported. Help!
Thanks for naming the websites with photos. Last edited by echolodge; 12-08-2013 at 09:07 AM. |
