New. Can not get pics to work right

I have the team logos in the graphics folder, and those work fine

I have 2 picture packs the M amze ing 18009 pics one, in graphics folder under player_pics and i added a 1990s pack in there as well.

Well, the first pack is .jpg the second is .png but none of the pictures seem to work at all

can anyone tell me what i'm missing?

Which graphics folder are they in? They need to be in the folder for your saved game, not the quickstart one. Also, the pictures won't load until you reload the game, so if you haven't closed out of FHM and restarted it you won't see the pictures.
