Clearing History

If I wanted to start with the 2009 roster file but clear the history and records how do I go upon doing this?

I'm at work now, so I don't know the exact names for the tabs and such, but if you go to Game Setup, you'll see a bunch of tabs along the top. Click on the last one, and you'll see a lit of buttons. Go to the bottom and you'll find the ones you need.

Thanks - found it. There is a button for erase entire league history: which will erase history of all leagues/teams/players in the game. What I'm looking for is to keep the players history but erasing just the records in the game. You know if this is possible?

Or just erase career leader boards and/or records. That is what I'm wanting to clear.

In older versions, you could just delete Retired.dat......

I don't believe there is a way to delete records and the leaders board without deleting player history and stats. Stats accumulate into the history and leaders boards. Since I only play fictional I am not an expert on this issue so maybe another OOTP expert can answer this interesting questions.

Is there a way to erase the player histories, but keep the team stats? That's what I'm interested in.

There's an erase players history option.
