2 Questions I been searching too long for answers... Please help

I'm not really a newbie to the OOTP game as I had it since ootp5 but the new interface, etc is really confusing me.

I been searching for two questions for the longest time, so any help would be greatly appreciated:

1) If I want to use the Lahman Database and begin a season in 1995, how do I do that. I went to start year when creating a league and typed it in but got nothing but fictional players. I do have the Lahman database successfully installed on my computer for use in past versions...

2) Any links or directions (if its even possible) on how to do expansion teams in 2006? I thought I read somewhere a while back that its easier this year than in years past.

Amazing as soon as I post asking for help, I in no less than 30 seconds stumble upon the answer to starting a league using the lahman database.

Now just the expansion, please...

That's not exactly true. You are free to add, delete & realign teams, but there is no built-in mechanism for stocking expansion teams. You can run an expansion draft outside the game (pen & paper, or whatever), and then move the players to the new teams via trades, releases or waivers.

Directions on editing the league structure can be found in the game guide. Search for "edit league structure"...
