2 Big Ideas

1) Commissioner Trade Approvals. I play real MLB seasons but am so frustrated with the trade scene in the first season. The AI doesn't understand, for example, the Orioles having Mark Trumbo, Pedro Alvarez and Chris Davis. It sees three 1B although two were just acquired before the season and one signed a long-term deal. It insists on trading one of them because of the supposed 1B surplus. Same with Royals and Morales/Hosmer, the Tigers with Martinez/Cabrera, etc. It doesn't get the DH. All I want - and I have to believe this would be really simple to add - is a commissioner approval option for all trades. Once I get past the first season, I usually relax, but sometimes there's a case for just wanting to see what a player does if he spent his whole career with one team. I would like to have some say in that.

2) An offseason quick start. It would be thoroughly awesome to be able to have a quickstart from the day after the last game of the World Series with current rosters, season results, etc. and then go through the current offseason. What better way to enjoy the hot stove season then to actually play it out at home and try and be the team that trades for Chris Sale or Evan Longoria? Or signs Encarnacion. I get that you could just play the '16 season and do the offseason, but the circumstances are vastly different with in-season trades, injuries and player performance so it's just not the same.

LOVE both of your ideas. I'd like to piggyback on your first one and make an additional suggestion:

- Better understanding/rationalization of WHY AIs acted the way they did (this could be something only available in Commissioner mode). It could also be shown through better news articles that give a little more insight into what the GM was thinking - even if the insight is obfuscated a bit since most GMs won't always reveal just *what* is going through their minds when they make a trade.

These are both fantastic ideas and would be welcome features!!
