2016 Crash

Anyone else happen to make it to the off season in 2016?
And as soon as you sim past July 1st it crashes?

The Message comes up "Starting new season" and gets to 70% and just hangs. I've tried waiting - for hours, re-starting, play until next year (month, week), latest patch, etc. Nothing helps. Too bad. The game was pretty cool and I had developed a nice minor league team to feed my NHL team. Lots of work spent on that. Now I just don't have the energy to start it all over again.

In cases like this, we'd really like to see your savegames so we can figure out what the problem is. So please, if you still have these saves, upload them to our ftp site (instructions here) or put them on a filesharing site (fileserve, rapidshare, dropbox, etc.) and let me know the link.

I've restarted my game a few times, but haven't been playing it as often. I will for sure do this next time, if it happens again.

Sorry to hijack the thread but would/could you look at a save game file of mine? I had mentioned in the updated sticky that in my newest game the draft stopped generating right before the third year. I have no idea why although I had thought this problem was solved and if I can I would gladly upload the file.

I have the exact same problem. Will reach the 1st July and start processing the new season. Will run through 3 loading bars worth of "processing" but upon reaching the third, it reaches 70% then crashes and force closes.
