Rough week. My Doubledays won 112 games but lost in the final 4 again to another Uber Whale team.
Big Bats were a .500 team in Perfect. Bears lost in the final 4 as well. I guess there is always next week?

The Miners and the Provo Soak go to game 7 where 96 Blake Snell outduels 85 Harvey Haddix for a 2-1 win. The combined score of all 7 games was Provo 20 Miners 17. Three games were decided by 1 run and 2 others by 2. In the end the pitching of Provo was just too much for the Miners as they could only plate one run in the final two games, which Provo won 2-0 and 2-1.
On to find some GOLD!

White Tigers swept the division series before losing the conference series 4-1. Black Panthers also won their division series, 3-2 in their case, before also losing in the conference series 4-1. So that's 14 playoff appearances without a championship so far for me.

My 1980's All Stars in Iron are about to lose their World Series to an abandoned starter pack team that has not changed a thing. Only I would get RNG'ed to death like this.
I haven't been this angry since the 2027 Bronze LCS when my Patriots blew a 3-0 lead. Might need more than beer to wash the bad taste out of my mouth. |

Finally the Tassie Thunder win a perfect league...woot. Lots of luck involved and nice not to face uber whale teams with all peak legend perfect rotations in playoffs. Lucky.

Logging in, and within the blink of an eye the info pops up that I was out-bid for the Peak Luis Aparicio by a last-second sniper.
I am sad now, the 24k PP in the Accountants' account be damned. I haven't been able to get my dirty paws on a juicy historical diamond - either to flip it or for my own enjoyment - all weekend long. Sigh!

My teams did quite well on autopilot while I was away for work.
Great Lake won the P408 title after winning 120 games in the regular season. Pedro Martinez achieved another triple crown and Trout was the MVP with a 9.8 war season. Doha won 108 games but finished second in the division. After winning the Wild Card we lost in 5 tight games against our divisional rival, who went on to win the league. We also had the batting champion (99 Cobb at .345) and HR champion (Perfect Aaron with 35). Perugia had another very good season, winning 92 games and reaching the wild card where we lost.

Are you KIDDING me this is TWO WEEKS in a row I've blown a 3-1 lead in the title series!!!!
With the last 2 games going to extras! Against an obvious whale team with 5 perfects and 12 diamonds! I'm so mad And to top it off they put this arrogant quote by Bellinger, one of my most hated players IRL on the story!! Nothing could be worse than this! And now I'm gonna get wrecked in Diamond league with essentially the same team that was stuck in Silver for 8 weeks!

Congrats on the win. A bit lucky that the Pine Tar Pirates got tripped up in the sub-league series, but sometimes it's better to be lucky and good.
But seriously that Pine Tar Pirates team was in my division 2 weeks ago and it was scary.

Somehow won Diamond League championships in two diamond leagues that were abnormally weak. One on a F2P team the other on a team I put $40 into the first week but have little to show from it.
They're both about to get utterly smashed in Perfect.

Oh, they would have been clear favorites for sure. It wasn’t lost on me that having them eliminated made the road easier.
