B'sin'Glou won their wildcard game but then got swept by Winterfell, who went a breezy 115-47 in the regular season, in the next round.
We were 94-68 for the season which was good enough to be the second-best record in our conference. We scored more runs than last season's slugger-heavy team, and let in less, our ERA dropping below 4.00 for the first time. A surprisingly good season. It will be interesting to see if they can emulate it next campaign.

Well, the Raccoons won more games in the conference championship this year. We won one this year. Oh well. We had another terrific and fun season, winning 101 games. The Mudhens live on and are trailing 3-2 in their series.

Don't understand the playoff format.
crashSfgiants1 are 7-1 headed to the Iron series and it starts tomorrow after one day between series. crashSFgiants2 are down 3-2 and still playing in a series. they are in different leagues, but has it always been this way? Would think the team that won the series 4-1 would have a few day break? |

Perhaps the team on the other side won 4-0?

The Mud Hens lost in 7 games in the conference championship so they didn't get the honor of facing off against the sole whale (who won 125 games).
Now on to bronze where they'll not likely do so very well. I've decided to make them a "packs mostly" team. I save up PP and if there's a really good player for a good price that can help my team, I'll get him from the AH. Otherwise, I'll just spend it on packs. So far, I've gotten only 3 silvers and only 1 of them made my team and only as a backup.

Big Walt won Pitcher of the Year.
Then OOTP made another clear statement about WAR being a useless stat and snubbed Big Walt (11.5 WAR) for a position player with 7.5 WAR when it came to MVP. Or is it the old "Son, you have to play on a winning team to be valuable" adage?

Interestingly, the season after my Ty Cobb won MVP over your Walter Johnson I saw that his WAR for that season had been retroactively increased. It was 7.6 when I made this post but when I look now, it says 9.5 WAR. I'm sure I've seen a post from a dev about why WAR changes retroactively season to season but I can't quite wrap my head around it. Has Walt's 2021 WAR changed?
