I remember a long time ago. I think it was version 6. It kept crashing and if we turned the sound off, it would not crash.

Do you think that will get the tournaments to work?

But, if they just delay and drop it for 21, then claims of false advertisement might carry more merit.
Yes-I wouldn't say I bought 20 entirely for Tourneys, but it was a feature that was clearly advertised and I was excited about it in March.

Both of these things are true:
-The developers have done a great job with OOTP20 and new features in PT. I will buy every version of this game at full price despite my complaints.
-It's poor form to advertise a feature before the game is released, and have that feature come 6+ months late, and frankly this is sort of a trend from OOTPD. I know development is hard and people got sick, but not really an excuse for a 6+ month delay.

Well, that's software development for you... things happen But, we now finally have learned our lesson, and we will never ever make estimated timetables public for future feature additions again.

And this is fine! I know it stinks for you guys-you're excited about adding awesome features, you want to scream it from the rooftops. But yeah, the expectation setting can cause issues

Again, y'all have done great with the game, I hate to sound harsh. Really enjoying my time with it and can't wait to get my hands on Tournaments.

And I don't accuse of purposeful intent. Things certainly do happen in software development. Just ask SquareEnix

Update: Company internal beta testing starts today, woohoo! If this goes well over the weekend, I will post a big update on the timeline on Monday, Oct 28.
