That Vukovich is some gem, huh? Mine won the batting title. I have three live Gold outfielders (Acuna, Conforto, and some other twat I just forgot ), but none of them can splash him with water, really.

The Shanel Xtreme swept the Dyersville Ghosts in the Bronze 235 series completing a torrid finish to their first season. The Xtreme won 44 of their final 54 entering the playoffs and were hardly checked in their quest for fame and fortune against the cream of the league. Manager, NelMit, just completed a meeting with owner, Kushiel, and PT officials to determine the fate of the Champions. The results of that meeting were immediately announced thrilling Xtreme fans everywhere. The team will be promoted to Silver Level for the next league season NelMit announced with a broad grin.

Kaneohe Mokes (pack only) and Aina Haina Parakeets (pure defense) both won the titles in their leagues. Palolo Pit Bulls snuck into the playoffs but their horrible pitching let them down. Tye Campbell Gunners suffered through an identity crisis before settling on a small ball system that will hopefully pay off down the future. They got their butts handed to them in Silver. F2p all the way

One of my teams snuck into the Iron playoffs as the wild card. Made it to Game 7 of the WS against a stacked Whale squad that won 130 games in the regular season. Had a 4-0 lead but couldn't hold on. Would've felt really sweet to knock off that juggernaut.

Looking at the league stats page I now realize I somehow got all the way to game 7 of the Bronze Series with only one player in the top 5 of any major statistical category. My opponents in the playoffs had a total of 53.

Adam Eaton had the 5th most singles. ALL RIGHT ADAM!

Also Mike Piazza got the batting award for catchers.
