OOTP 18 crashes on new MAC OS

Just updated the operating system High Sierra. Mac sent out an update to the previous install. I installed the first High Sierra a week or so ago. And the update today. Now when I try to play the game it crashes, right after I set the line up and click broadcast.

Can you please fix? I play this game every day for hours, by far my favorite game.

Really sorry about that, it appears there's a video card driver conflict for a few users when upgrading to Mac OS X 10.13 for a few users. We're currently working on getting a fix for this.

Is there any update on this? I'm still having the same issues. Or is it just going to be fixed for 19?

Since this is an Apple issue, it's not something we can fix for now.

In the meantime, we figured out a workaround that should allow you to continue playing.

If you go into the 'Settings' menu on OOTP's start screen, then go to '3d & Facegen', you'll see an option to set 'Audience Quality'. Set this to 'Low', and you should be good to play out a game in 3d again with no issues. Or you can try changing 'Audience Detail' to 'Simplified', which should also work.

Hopefully the next update to High Sierra will fix the glitch on Apple's end, but at least the steps above should allow you to play for now without too much loss of graphical quality.

Yes
