when the program loads... click settings... i know... they really try their best to hide it
there is an online manual. google will work well, too. edit: a tidbot is useful to you... each time you install an update patch (or fresh install) you'll have to reset that custom directory (i've made them aware inteh bugs forum that this custom path file needs to be untouched during updates for good reasons.. hope it changes for '18)... obviously not a problem for ootp'17 anymore.. but if you buy '18 you may want to know this. what i do: i copy the file to my desktop "custom_folders.ini" -> a file from the game root directory. as the game installs, i make sure to copy/paste that "old" custom_folders.ini file over the freshly installed update, BUT before you load the game for the first time (the game will try to automatically load, so paste in in there before then) if you do that, you don't have to edit the settings each time... you also don't have to wait for it to copy the ENTIRE data directory contents 2 times - once during installation, then again when you change the setting to your preferred directory (or "folder"). not necessary, but saves time.
