Age Restriction Help

Hello.

I'm starting an independent league involving two levels:
-Professional (major)
-U21 (rookie)

U-21 is set for ages 15 to 21 to develop for up to 6 years before entering the professional level, which is set to 21 and over.
However, for the inaugural draft, while youngsters are generated, they are not eligible for the draft.

The professional level's draft pool includes about 400 U-21 players, and the U-21 league has a draft pool of their own (not intended) with around 500, who will all be team-less.

Any help here?

not 100% sure what is being asked, but starting with the simple one first:

go to settings page involving the draft for the league you do not want the draft to occur.. uncheck it. if you don't want fictionally created players, uncheck that... it becomes visible after you turn off the draft.

..............

you have a feeder then? or what amounts to one?

the u21 needs to be filled with players - either a draft or simply created. it is your choice.

if it's sending players to your mlb, you should turn off created players for that league, if it doesn't automatically do that (where draft options are)

i really can't recall if you can set age of a created draft pool? but if it's not visible in the obvious areas of the settings... ??? maybe a config file in the game directories can be editted? after that you're out of luck.

pretty sure what you are describing is done by others, so the game should be able to do it easily.. .just common sesne, not based on specific knowledge, though. i've never set up a feeder league.

oh, maybe you need to associate the u21 with the pro league, though?? double check. use online manual for specifics.

Is the U21 league affiliated?
If yes then just set the U21 league to U21 after the draft. The AI will then send prospects to the proper level.
If No, check your player creation ages for the U21 league to make sure player creation ages are in the proper age range.

More information on the exact relationship between how these leagues work would be helpful.
