Post Deadline rosters

Hi all,

Post Deadline Rosters V 1.1 are now live:

-Rosters are up to date up to August 1, 2015
-MLB rosters only set touched. Minors were only edited if free agents were signed
-Jersey numbers were not edited
-Players who suffered season ending injuries were reflected to have those to ease the trades ie. McCarthy, Vargas
-Rosters are what I would term the best roster a team would have assuming the players on opening day stayed healthy
-No player ratings were edited
-I did set the AI to rate 40/30/20/10 and talent change to 50. Awards were renamed as well
-Rosters have been set to AI not being able to change to make my editing easier. You should change that when you start your game

Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to share these. I was actually strongly considering making my own rosters, but it seemed like a very daunting task. The thought of starting a new game with updated rosters is very tantalizing.

Again, thank you so much for offering to share these. It's posts like that that make this community so great!

So far have the D-Backs, Braves, Red Sox, and Orioles done! No problem. This is something I like doing but don't get enough time with a family and such

Out of curiosity, how are you going to handle major injuries?

Take the Dodgers, for instance. With their trades, they'd have a rotation of:
Kershaw
Grienke
Latos
Wood
Anderson

How about Brandon McCarthy, who was lost to Tommy John? Will you add an injury to him? Just curious!

Injuries I haven't touched yet. I may add major injuries ie. Vargas as well but for whatever reason when I edit injuries players aren't placed on DL even if I add DL days

I have half the MLB teams done but likely won't be done the rest until Sunday. A few notes so far:

-I have not altered ratings nor the minor leagues unless teams signed FA's to minor league deals.

-I haven't altered any uniform numbers and am not sure I will

-I haven't touched the rosters other than making trades and releasing players or demoting players. I didn't fiddle too much with players that were constantly moving up and down. Too much work and if someone wanted to do it, go right ahead

-I have disabled AI lineup changes so you'll need to change that once final rosters are done

I'll continue to update and I apologize in advance if the rosters aren't 100% accurate. I used the MLB Transaction tracker, but realize I will miss moves here and there.

-As for injuries, I haven't quite decided. I think if the player suffered a major injury early on, I'd add it...Thoughts?

He would have to update Stats to today but could just do a Small Schedule that's goes from August 1st to end of season and what we can't do Edit Standings. We don't have Custom Start Date. Good Project. Out for the Year is okay but the tricky problem is like 15 days.

It'll be start of the season ones. I agree about the injuries. If the player is out for the season, I will put the injury in. Doing 15 day stints for others would be difficult.

I'll probably link this thread in the main thread to get some more feedback on the rosters. This is my first foray into making a roster set so hopefully it will turn out ok. Thanks again and hope to have these done tomorrow afternoon/evening

Rosters are done! As soon as everything is uploaded, I will post the download link on the first post I made.
