A couple of questions...
hi, im not really new to the whole text baseball game thing (i used to play season ticket baseball 2003)
but had been playing ootp 6.5 now for almost a year, and heres some questions i had just out of curiousity (and sorry if this has been covered before, i couldnt find it anywhere) 1: in the news section where the minor league rankings are at, i was wondering how the "points" system works. my minor league is currently the best in the league (with around 245 points, way better than any other teams) 2: which formula of the Runs Created does the game use? 3: i couldnt find anywhere how you came up with the RC/27 stat. I was trying to figure it out on my own, didnt know if i was missing anything. thnks! |

1. I'm not sure, just a shot in the dark, it's your top 100 players put together. For example, if your prospect rankings are 1, 44, 47 and 55, 1 equals 100, 44 equals 56, 47 equals 53, and 55 equals 45, which brings up a grand total of 254.
2. (H+BB)*TB/(AB+BB) (Correct me if I'm wrong)

so, the formula the game uses doesnt factor in stolen bases? reason i ask is because i put myself in a league as a first baseman, and im tryin to keep track of every single stat i possibly can, and the whole RC and RC/27 is the only one that gets me.
as for the minor league thing, that makes sence, im gonna try that out to see if its true. thanks alot! |

RC/27 is just RC per 27 outs.
