Passed Ball Algorithm?

I've noticed catchers are seeing balls go by at an astronomical rate. And I'm not talking bad catchers, either - Realmuto had 4 in one game, while Flowers had maybe 5.

I saw a thread someone else posted, that it's a bug that comes up when using live start. The passed balls multiplier in the league stats settings gets set to an extremely high number, due to a bug. If you set it to the normal default of 1.000, then passed balls will become realistic again.

Thank you! Any other stats like that with similar issues? I've noticed service time is also off by a year on live start...is there any modifier to fix it?

Service time will be fixed in the next patch, but only for new games.

Some other stat modifiers on the page with PB may be off - OF Assists the modifier defaults to around .3 but will usually spike to 1 with a live start. Any other modifier which is significantly over 1 may be an issue as well

Almost all defensive stats seem to be left off on Live Start, too, for what that's worth. I was shocked why Realmuto didn't ask for more money for an extension until I saw his WAR (2.1) only included his offense.

Live Start is the new feature this year which allows the player to start an MLB save from the current day, instead of from the start of the season.

go screenshot the modifiers of a quickstart mlb league. it's essentially the same players with slight changes, so it'll be very close.

autocalc, if necessary, but i think it comes autocalced out of the box, so to speak.

keep the ones that are fine, and replace only what might be off.
