Thanks! Any chance you could please post a screenshot of the overall standings, given that more than half the league is OL?

TIA

Bronze Update-Games played through June 28th.

Big OL days from both Wheatland (15-4) and Scullytown(11-4). The Robins who have led from the start are beginning to feel the heat. Scullytown moved from 11th to 5th place.

Thanks to everyone that takes time out of their day to update these standings! It is greatly appreciated and very cool. Also, thanks for making me feel better after venting yesterday! Things seem to be improving for everyone but Roncalli. Just have to ride out the storm and look for better efficiencies.

Good luck everyone!

So I saw the Vikings got a shared no-hitter against I think the Cottons. Then I wondered why the pitcher got pulled during a no-hitter? Then I saw Jimenez was on 6 walks. Then I saw we actually lost the game 2-1. Funny!

Bronze update

The Rockin' Robins who had led the OL from the start had tough day posting a 4-13 record in OL games yesterday and tumbled down to 6th place. Antique and Northborough have taken the top two spots with their consistent play. I have been doing this for a while and I dont remember seeing spikes like I am this week with a team posting a great record one day only to be 8-10 games under .500 the next.

In overall league play the races are tightening up as we hit the dog days of August. Standings and a look at the WC picture below.

Knights Turn Solid Day into OL S296 Lead

Boogie continued their solid play, going 8-5 to take over the top spot. Chi-town, 8-4, and Port Ruppert, 15-5, turned in .750 performances to pass Phiadelphia, which slumped to 12-13. Terra Incognita also had a big day, going 15-7.

In the PT playoff race, OL teams currently hold 8 of the 10 spots, but there are three teams with 1 1/2 games of the the wild card in the AL. Only the NC Central appears out of reach for OL.

Iron League .198

Mudville is dominating the OL interaction, with a 3-1 record against Gotham and a 5-2 record against Stephensville. Mudville has one 3-game series remaining with Gotham.

The Muffins and Bears are on track to meet in the Iron League playoffs. Each team leads their division, at this point, with Mudville up 1½ games in the NC Central (plus a 6 game wildcard cushion) and Stephensville up 11 in the NC West.

Meanwhile, Gotham is solidly *out* of the playoffs, 27 games behind the Bears. Steelport - looking forward to 2038 and some actual OL competition - is 7 games out of first in the AC East, and 7½ games from wildcard position.

if my directionless, pack-only bronze team keeps up their red hot level of play, they'll be joining the iron tier bunch next season, so one more to add to the group

Steelport sucks. The Saints are too busy saving the galaxy and beating up aliens to care about baseball.

(Thousand points to anyone who figures out why I did this team name)

Well, my team apparently can't hit this year with everyone having career offensive lows, so we gotta work the runs in somehow

Maybe I should go to a min batting park and try to win every game that way...

Kaneohe swept both Victoria and Bold Strategy this week. Astacio And Maddux were picked up to improve their crappy pitching but have stunk it up so far. Thank god for Rod Carew.
