Wrong teams in Player Salary History

So I created feeder leagues that were too big for the majors because I used the built-in function and I ended up deleting a few leagues. I ended up using the purge tool to get rid of the players I ended up deleting and the teams that disappeared. However, now in the player history screen, all the players have the wrong team links for their salary history. For example, I am playing as the Giants, but now every player on my team will have National League All-Stars in place of the Giants for the years that I paid them. I was wondering if there was a fix for this that I haven't noticed or if I just need to keep playing on like this. It's not really a huge deal, except I feel like I tainted their history.
