Will FHM2 allow a 4-conference structure?

To make a long post short:

Would it be possible to have four conferences (let's call them the Adams, Norris, Patrick, and Smythe) with two divisions each?

For instance, the Adams Conference East would consist of Boston, New Jersey, Montreal, and New York Islanders, while the Adams Conference West would consist of Buffalo, New York Rangers, Ottawa, and Toronto.

No, there are currently only league configurations with the options for 1 or 2 conferences.

When the NHL is expanded to the max(36 teams) must the conferences both have 18 teams?

Also ,when the AHL expands(32-34-36) ,will 5 teams still only play 68 games or how will that work?

I haven't specifically tested the NHL expansion to the max scenario, but I know when I was expanding a fictional league I could pick whatever division (and thus conference) I wanted the new teams to go into.

And I have no clue on the AHL question. I'll let another beta tester speak up if they have tested such a scenario, but it's not something I'll have the time to determine before release.

Are the conference and division structure options the same as in FHM1? I'm hoping to start with six divisions, four teams per division, and then bring the divisions up to 5 teams each via waves of expansion.

There are 34 different team/conference/division setups in FHM 2, which is a few more than FHM 2014.

The setup available for 24 teams is 2 conferences, 4 divisions.

No, you cannot edit the structures of leagues.

You can move the teams(switching team names) manually(one player at a time with player editor). That might take awhile but it should get the job done. That's how I will move teams from the NHL to the AHL to form a Super-AHL which will compete as a Major League(or something).
