Goalie Fitness
In my current season, I'm playing with Tuuka Rask as my starter and Josh Harding as the backup.
There have been many times this season where both goaltenders' fitness levels are in the low 70s. At the current moment, I have Harding at 70 and Rask at 75. It is virtually impossible to get these guys back up to 90s level as I have to rotate them nearly every game. At the present moment I'm in January. This also happened in November. After playing a home-and-home series with Pittsburgh, and being forced to play each goaltender. I know have Josh Harding @ 73 and Tuuka Rask @ 64. I should also add Rask is "Angry" about "Insufficient Playing Time" and Harding is "Unhappy" about "Insufficient Playing Time" Last edited by mymkovski; 04-17-2013 at 02:37 AM. |

I've run into this problem too running a Holtby/Neuvirth duo. Seems to me that the goalie fitness stats in general need to be beefed up some. Unless you are willing to play your goalie with fitness in low 70s and below, I'm not able to replicate any of the number of games played that we see in real life.
I would also like to see the option to set a level of fitness for which the AI will automagically play the backup instead of me having to check where he is at every single game. I like to play fairly hands on with control of all my lineups, but it's just unnecessarily annoying to have to micromanage like that. |

Hopefully this is something that just hasn't been touched yet in beta, as it definitely needs to be.
