Geez! Thanks! I put time in making all the players... (which is an advantage because I pretty much know the scouting report without much looking around) ... so it is good to have it to share... so I appreciate your message .. and welcome! |

I've modified the logo on Salt Lake to work a little better on the game.... all players just look like they are slow....
And I worked out Anchorage ... to more of what I had always though they should look like, and to distinguish them a bit more from Portland. I used some crude methods, am learning some tricks on paint.net.... Hope you all like it, It's not perfect (lines) ... but I think it looks good Hope isedelyod does too ALSO, included is the minor league teams.... and the old picture so new people know the old, and it is easy to see what is different Last edited by NolaSola7; 10-08-2015 at 07:03 AM. |

Season Underway!!
Welcome to the IHA 2015-2016 my fine people Couldn't have made a better schedule myself... Major Rivals Lake Ontario v. Quèbec are on the lot, and US's major RIvalry Milwaukee and Grand Rapids are also to face off These two teams will demand every team's best efforts ... and the season got started If unaware, this is Toronto v. Quèbec City. Blue-Red v. Red-Blue Natives versus the King Francophones v. Anglophones .. the Canadian version of Cowboys v. Indians (Dallas v Washington) Quèbec never trailed, but lost its two goal lead twice. They opened the first period with 2, then Lake Ontario got two back pretty quickly in the next period Big stats, many different scorers but Quèbec's Leskinen and Lake Ontario's Parshin got two respectively,.. the difference makers, apart from many even stats, Quèbec outshot Lake Ontario in crunch time (3rd period) 15-3 -- after never leading in shots in the first two periods. Despite a 2-0 lead, Quèbec was outshot by a pretty wide margin. and Quèbec had many more takeaways than Lake Ontario Expect Quèbec to be great at special teams all around (penalty killing and in their power play) Quèbec's dominance in the 3rd was in large part due to two penalties for the Tomahawks, so possesion and shots came Quèbec's way..... First day, I plan on playing a few games, kind of fast, very fast in the first 10-12 minutes, fast for the next period and a half, and normal-expanded action in the first 10-12 minutes of the 3rd with normal-normal speed in the final 5-8 minutes. I plan to play games that fall on a Sunday, a sort of game of the week thing.... but I will not hold to this as a rule, just as a method... (already reconsiderign this, I play this way on OOTP, but much more games in Baseball) ... I will largely play normal-normal when playing this games of the week, and you'll get the big news...... JUST decided .... You will decide the GOTW ... I'll figure out a way to vote I might shoot for 1 game every 4th day (FHM day) instead of 1 every 7th ...... Day 1 Game 2 MIlwaukee v. Grand Rapids
I lost one game due to loss of power .... It was a good one, too.... Goal in the final moments in the 1rst, an answer, then a star gets the go ahead in the 3rd ... The second game (registered/official game) was pretty much all Grand Rapids.... The defense I showcased previously played well, Lagercrantz had a game rating of 99 * G Covey ** W Leach *** W Hazzard |

High scoring games so far. My top three are: Rochester, Grand Rapids, and Saskatoon.

forgot to tell you my Philly friend.... in the last test_run, I really only did it to see what happened with the draft, and it's the only saved_game that I simmed two seasons..... your Rochester team won the title :-)

DAY 1, Game 3
Ottawa @ Rochester I had a thought, why would I offer to give special attention to one of my reader's teams, and not play the very first game of their season? So, I played it.... Rochester had some surprises, Lajeunesse didn't get the start, Couvreur must have had a good preseason and was hot, and he played well! saving over 94% of the several shots. Ottawa outshot Rochester, and it was unfortunate they didn't get the win for the surprise opening day goalie. Rochester got the first one but Ottawa answered in the closing moments in the first period on a power play goal. Rochester got a power play goal in the second In the third just around the 7 minute, Rochester found themselves against an Ottawa power play, Couvreur was on call!! Then another penalty before the end, so 5 on 3 and shots kept coming, Couvreur answered So after that extended power play period, Ottawa had its offensive wheels turning and had more shots to deliver. One bounced and was gathered and then sent to the corner and the veteran Ben Dupuis saved his team 1 point as got his second one in. We had two players scoring both goals for their respective teams. It was a good one. Another line-up surprise was Ewing played, and put in over 16 minutes on the ice. I posted his profile earlier saying Jake Williams would get his roster spot. I was wrong, he not only played both wing and center, and he was on the Rochester power play. Had a game rating of 80. Last edited by NolaSola7; 10-09-2015 at 10:50 PM. |

Maybe if Lajeunesse started, it would have gone differently. We'll never know.
