If you have no players with options left then you need to put them on waivers/DFA. Note that when you want to promote a player he should (but not always) have the * character. That tells you he is on the secondary (40 man) roster. If you want to promote a player who is not on the 40 man roster you need to have room on it or the game will refuse. Hope this makes sense.
