I'm glad to hear this. Now, that's the route I may take. I don't earn much cash and can't afford the ink cartridges for my printer. So I can't afford to print out a manual. When I first heard you had to download and print the manual for this game, I had decided to skip buying it, because I want my manual printed in factory form the way they should be from a purchased product. You're saying that you got a manual by ordering the cd makes me now rethink purchasing it. |

Even if I could afford it, there's no way on earth I would print out a 500 page manual. Yikes! I'm perfectly happy keeping it on my computer.

I'm too much 'old school'. I started my pc games days back when all the pc games came with printed manuals in book form. That's what I got used to, that's what I expect.
I'm still going to get the game though. |

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I'm old too (and fat ), and a printed manual is very nice. I have to be honest, I've been having some issues with the marketing department (details of which I won't share), but they do seem genuine in their efforts to please the customer. So, I hope you do buy, AND I hope you also continue to make noise about printed manuals, because I still cling to hopes of the now forgotten way of life "The customer's always right." Good luck to you, and I am sorry I misled you in my earlier post.
