While I think many of these attributes aren't exactly conducive to making him a great President, they could well be exactly what's needed for a commissioner.

I'd say Pete Rose should run baseball, then he could put himself in the hall of fame.

Can W. take over the job, like, right now?!?

I'd take Dan Quayle over Bush at this point.

Otherwsie, I'd prefer Costas first, Bush second and Will third. Everyone else I haven't read/heard enough about their work.

And I would rate Bud Selig's performance as Commish as a 4/10. It's miraculous he hasn't destroyed the game after all.

What no one seems to have mentioned yet is that the owners (who are really all that matters) would/will continue to pick Bud Selig as their commish.

For all his failings, Bud has overseen a big growth in revenues, a leveling off of player salaries, and a business model where teams don't even have to feign trying to make a profit.

Bill Gates - MLB = Microsoft League Baseball

We would get new upgrades every year.

Bob Uecker. Funny as hell older former baseball player. Maybe Yogi Berra. Love those AFLAC commercials.
