I'll bet that it will come down to whether or not the Cubs are in the race.

I think it is safe to saythe Cubs are out of it. It has been a wierd set of injuries over the last couple of years. I think the Cubs need to change the Injury frequency level down to Normal or High at the most.

They should also turn the editor on and change Nomar and Wood from prone to normal.

Well, I'm sure most would disagree, but the Cubs aren't out of it yet.
They're playing pretty decent ball right now....granted, we haven't been playin great teams, but a win is a win. You're obviously not going to call it quits on the season when you're only 1 game under .500. When they get to 10 under, then I'll be ready to admit the season is over. |

They put him on the 15 day DL.
He should be back soon and Dusty'll have him slinging 130 pitches a game in no time flat. |

Prior's pitching on sunday. I'm not a fan of this move at all. I'd rather him test his arm in game time situations in rehab. Oh well, i hope he's not gun shy.

Rather than start a new thread, I felt it would be funnier just to bump an old one.
Prior's rotator cuff is bugging him, he gets it looked at today in Anaheim of Los Angeles. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/NASApp/m...=.jsp&c_id=chc |

This thread should be stickied. It will save time.

It's to the point where I have no respect for anybody who can still blindly follow the Cubs. I can't understand how anybody can swallow the force-fed lies and still go pay twice as much for a ticket at the Cubs' own scalping agency. |

Everytime I read one of these threads I think back to BadLuckinOOTP's dynasty Glory of the Gload where Mark Prior's arm fell off--literally!
