Exclamation Tournaments list update coming (Dec 6)

Hey guys,

we have evaluated your feedback and our data and will make adjustments to the tournament list tomorrow (Dec 6). Changes:

- Eliminate several Quick tournaments, some were not very popular
- Added 3 Quick tournaments with card restriction of Diamond or lower
- Added 3 Quick tournaments with Best of 3 series & 16 teams (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
- Added 2 Quick tournaments Iron only
- Added 2 Daily Bronze tournaments (early & regular)
- Increased payout for some Daily tournaments
- Tweaked payouts for various other tournaments
- Added Historical Pack as payout to a few Daily & Weekly tournaments

If we forgot something obvious, please let us know!

Thanks!
Markus

Sounds great! Thanks! Not sure what is eliminated but I like the additions. Missed the BO3 and I want to try an iron tourney.

Love how these are constantly being tweaked to find the right mix. The tournament format is a lot of fun.

Good, really missed Bo3s.

The middle ground between the raw randomness of DoD and the zzzzzzz of waiting for a nice long Bo5 to play out.

Just curious, which Quick tournament types are being eliminated?

It's a mix. A lot of the cap tournaments will be dropped (some will stick around but a lot less than before), and then a handful of others that are mostly duplicates or simply weren't as popular.

OK folks, the update is now live! Have fun and a great weekend!

PS: By the way, the changed rewards (eg. Historical Packs for the Dailys) will appear for new tournaments after the already scheduled Dailys are finished.

Are the daily silvers moving up to 128? It is really frustrating that you have to sign up 12 hours early to play in these

Love the addition of the bronze dailies. Now we need Iron dailies!! I'd also like to see the daily silver bumped up to 128. The Bronze dailies are gonna wanna be 128 as well. Having to lock up a slot so early is annoying.

You could also just give us more slots.

There is a Bo7 non-live 1625 cap tourney, but not a Bo7 non-live 1875 tourney. Is that an oversight? More of the latter have been played so far, so was more popular.
Or maybe they're both being dropped and the 1625 non-live is just the last one.

The first of the new quick bronze Bo3 tournaments just ended, and a team built around power just finished 2nd!

It was probably more rng than actual smart team construction (there are improvements I can make even within my divergent strategy), but I don't enjoy being the same as every other team, and I'm successful enough to be happy.

I don't think the 100 Lou Whitaker tournament is ever going to start... This is the card where the tournament got wiped out with the patch update a couple weeks ago.

Some of these 128's should probably go down to 64. Seems like the tourneys with lower barriers to entry (silver, bronze) might be better off with larger tournaments.

I guess I was one of the few that actually enjoyed playing 3 different cap 1875 tournaments at the same time.
Now there is often just a single one :-(

I really like it when a team can sign up and play in 3 similar tournaments at the same time. Example: gold historical, non-live t32, non-live t16.

Just something to keep in mind since some teams don’t have the rosters to join tournaments across various levels (silver, gold, open, cap, ...) and playing in three similar tournaments is easier to prepare, manage, and track.

Why totally remove the Open Non-Live 32 team format?
