It's that there are far more live irons than other types therefore live irons make up the majority of pack filler.

Since there are far more historical bronzes than irons it makes sense for bronzes to be the most common to open. Otherwise you would just be pulling the same irons over and over if there were 5 out of the like 60 that exist.

This is straight up incredible news. Thank you for making Perfect Team an incredible game and I can't wait to play in these events.

Silvers are 1:10 odds in these packs instead of 1:20 in normal packs, and the iron:bronze ratio is set so that on average you'll get about 1 iron per pack (I got 54 in the 50 test packs I opened)
That sounds about right, will the diamond ration remain the same?

Yes, Diamond and perfects have the same ratio. But only historical cards

It sure was pretty to see 6 historical cards and know that John Jay would stay away.

I don't see it crashing either. I think the price point is about right.

When looking at historical diamonds you are paying 10x as much to go from a 30% to 100% chance of the card being historical. Since you are getting a historical gold guarantee instead of a bronze that is probably worth 3000 extra PP baseline so you are really just paying about 7000 PP for that, which seems about the same value wise to regular packs except without having to sort through all the junk.

Just be sure to turn off your "autosell < X" setting before opening those packs!

So if my maths is right, it should see a big increase in gold and silver historicals, but diamonds would be rarer than buying 10 normal packs? (same odds, but 10 times as expensive, but 100% chance of historical instead of 30%)

I think I understand now. I didn't see what you meant by filler at first. Thanks for your patience and clear explanation.

Yes. Although it's not really 10x more expensive if you are just on a diamond hunt since you have that guaranteed gold buffer.

But if people are buying a lot more of these than they would regular packs we should see more diamonds enter the market.

Aye, true, but I was speaking from entirely a diamond perspective. The return on your pack should be significantly higher than 10 standard packs

Love the old school wrapper on these. Great touch. These should come with a piece of gum.

I'm opening these until I get a diamond just to have the experience of seeing a blue card that isn't brandon woodruff turn around.

I take it the Perfect Points sale is delayed? Kris mentioned last evening it would coincide with the historic pack release.

Nope, it's up now. You do need to log out and log in again to see it though.
