Non Roster Invitees

How do i invite a free agent to camp as a NRI?

Cant seem to see where to do it anywhere on the player profile or contract offer screen, or is it because im trying to do it on an imported '14 game and it will only show on a newly started '15 game?

Any ideas appreciated.

I havent tried it in an imported game. When I invite NRI to ST I just drag them into the teams spring training roster on the Team Transactions screen.

When you say drag them in, from where, the FA list?

I must be missing something here.

Doesnt seem to be a specific option, so i did some searching and found this from Markus...

Seems thats how its done, so you can have them participate in ST without being on the 40 man.

Sign player to Minor league deal, do not place on 40 man roster. Set Spring Roster size > 40. Drag player from Minors to spring roster, not 40. There is a NRI
