Generating runs
The largest problem Ive had in making the playoffs is manufacturing runs. Last season the tea was 9th in stolen bases, 9th in batting avg and 7th in home runs, but 17th in run scored.
Ive switched to a manager who is more offensively minded to see if that helps. Still, I am curious what some people do to eke out more runs from their team. |

tbh with those stats (avg homers etc) it seems as just your plain unlucky and your hitters just dont hit well with runners in scoring position. but you could try to get really aggressive on the bases steal alot hit and run bunt every once in a while.

Where do you rank in OBP? OPS? How is your lineup constructed? What are your park effects?
These and quite a bit more affect what you are doing. Then add in a bit of luck, good and bad, to the mix.
