Auto-exit on job availability?

Whenever I click "Continue" I see notifications of fired coaches and immediate replacements. Is there a way to break when new job positions become available? I have 239 hours so far in FHM5 and haven't yet seen an available job populate on that screen when randomly checking for new opportunities. I only see firings and filled positions in the news.

If a team's AI decides you're a candidate for an open job, the game will be interrupted (assuming you haven't done something like set it to do not disturb); it decides on its shortlist of candidates as soon as the job opens up and either fills the position immediately or offers it to you if you're at the top of the list (and then fills it if you say no.) Right now, there's no way to insert yourself into consideration when you're not on their radar - I've been thinking of adding something along those lines, but a human GM candidate already gets an advantage in those hiring decisions, and taking that any further may make it a little too easy to keep moving up the job ladder after you lose/leave jobs.

The 'available jobs' screen's main function is to allow you to choose a team to take over in commissioner mode - the name is a holdover from the basic OOTP interface and could probably be changed to something a little more descriptive of what it does in FHM.
