Howard Richmond pitched very well in his return to the lineup, getting the win in a 4-1 Toronto win over the Twins

Jeremy Paterson homered.

Dave Winfield has been having a great spring, but he hurt his leg sliding into 2nd base. We await word on the severity of his injury.

Dave Winfield has a strained hamstring. He is likely going to miss the first month and a half of the season.

Ricky Jordan is brought up from the minor league camp.

We also got an update on Walt Terrell. He might be out for longer than expected.

Both teams hit around in the 1st and eventually the Blue Jays beat Cleveland 10-6.

Ryne Sandberg and Ken Phelps homered for Toronto.

Jeremy Paterson and Jose Medine were ejected after an altercation after Peterson was hit by a pitch.
