The Angels came into this game with a five game winning streak, but Walt Terrell put a stop to that. He went the distance in a 6-2 victory for the Blue Jays. Ryne Sandberg left the game with a bruised shin, that will necessitate him missing a few days. With Kelly Lewis on the shelf, this led to Ramiro Gonzalez playing 2B. WP - Walt Terrell (6-5) LP - Jimmy Jones (5-4) Record - 50-44 The Blue Jays now lead the AL East.

Kelly Lewis has a strained ribcage muscle and he will be iffy for the next week.
With Sandberg also needing some time, a change has to be made. Ramiro Gonzalez is sent to AAA. Aaron Anderson is called up. Bob Stoddard is Designated for Assignment.
