Webcast question
Hello all, I'm a long time strat-o-matic player who is giving OOTP a whirl. I'm enjoying the game while finding it to be a bit overwhelming as well...but i'm slowly learning.
I'm still figuring out the best way that I want to "play" my season, whether it's playing the games (i don't seem to be enjoying that as much), doing the real-time simulation (and when doing that i can't decide what speed i like) or simply auto playing a day or two at a time.
I seem to enjoy the webcast version of the real-time simulation the most...but something I'm struggling with is how the webcast simply goes away when the game ends. I've had a couple games end in walk-off fashion, where the home team was behind on the last pitch and tied and took the lead on the final pitch, but there's no way to know what happens in the webcast.
For instance, it'll be bottom of the ninth, 3-2, 2 out, 2 strikes, bases loaded, and then the game ends. i don't know if it was strike 3, or a walk-off hit without then leaving the webcast and going to the completed box score. it seems very anti-climactic to me. Is this just "how it is" or is there a way to prevent this from happening?
I hope this makes sense.
As a side-note any advice on how to "play" the season, or what works for you would be most-welcomed.
Thanks!
