GM vs Manager

I was wondering im not the one for line ups and such however im the kind of person for exmaple that I can call players up, send them down trade players etc and then let the head coach ro what not do the line ups so does that mean the GM position is the one i'm looking for in OOTP.. I want to be able to recall and send players between teams and what not.. be in charge of drafting etc..

Yes....the Manager is in charge of everything that happens during a game. The GM is in charge of everything else.
