TMBU has openings
League Name: The Moneyball Union
Website: tmbu.net Forum: TMBU Forum Email Address: kestu_2000 at yahoo.com Players: Fictional Teams: 28 Open Teams: 4 League Start Date: 2023 Current Season: 2064 (offseason) Salary Cap: $85 million Sim Schedule: M/W/F Sim Length: 10 days We currently have 3 openings: Hallifax, Sante Fe and Milwaukee We just celebrated our 41st season and the second season after expanding from 24 to 28 teams. The league has been around since December 2003 and has a great core group of owners. Hallifax is one of the afore-mentioned expansion teams, they have only been in existence for a couple years and they are team you can write your own history with. Sante Fe has been an up-and-coming team for the last couple of seasons. After 13 consecutive seasons with less than 77 wins, they have been over 80 in each of the last 2 seasons. Milwaukee is a consistent playoff threat, having appeared in 10 of the last 15 post seasons and last winning the title in 2049. They have several big decisons to be made this offseason and should be in the hunt again in 2064 after coming off 3 consecutive 90 win seasons. If you're interested in joining a fun league with great long-term ownership with lots of history, send me a PM or email. We are currently in the preseason so now is a great time to join. |

As an FYI to those interested, we will be moving to OOTP13 after the 2064 season, so now is a good time to jump in and get involved!

Keith forgot to add (or I failed to spot it) that we're a talent only league which means we don't see the actual ratings of players.
We also have scouts on and coaches off. It's a very solid league and has been going for a long period of time - 41 seasons so far. So if you want to try 12 now, get on board now and we'll be moving to OOTP13 when it gets stable. Drop by the forums, sign up and post in the newbies section. These teams are still open as we enter the FA period. Get in touch now if you want to get in during an important time of the year.

Hallifax has also been filled. Milwaukee is the last team available and as we are at the end of December, now is a great time to get in for our final OOTP12 season.

Saskatchewan is actually the only open team at this point. If you are interested, let me know. We are just about to enter the regular season.

Washington and Denver have opened up
Hello all,
Washington and Denver, two power-house franchises of tMBU past (and present), are open. Denver are atop the standings in the Hurlers' League Plains Division with a 59-36 record and Washington are 9 games back from a wildcard berth in the Sluggers' League Pacific Division. We're a talent-only league and are moving to OOTP 13 in the next offseason. With 41 seasons of history, it's a well established and well run league with opportunity for success for any level of GM. Both teams are currently over the $85 million salary cap and yet there is ample scope to make a deal happen as we approach the end of July and the Trade Deadline. |
