How are you using alternate jerseys?

I never cared about the new alternate jersey functionality. I thought I was like okay No big deal, but using it, It's actually pretty cool when you're playing a game and all of a sudden your favorite team comes out in the dark jerseys and seeing the other teams as well. Wondering what other people are doing. I notice if you schedule the same day for different jerseys, a message says it will randomly pick one. Have you guys tried that? Hopefully we'll get more functionality and scheduling options but right now, what are you guys doing with your alternate jerseys?

Another quick question, MLB team seem to have a very random schedule for alternate jerseys not just on certain days or weekends. Is this new? I remember it was a weekend thing.

IIRC the sheer quantity of post-lockout transactions coupled with supply chain delays caused issues getting all the alternates done on time so most teams couldn't have more than the basics ready early this year.
