Players won at auction vanishing

I just had an identical experience with 3B Rafael Devers after having the high bid in an auction; he shows in my card list but nowhere else. I did get the notification of the winning bid in a popup window, but I don't see any other record of the transaction.

My team is on the Xi Kappa server.

For the record I did find out how to fix it. If you go to Roster Management there's a button in the top right that says "MANAGE INACTIVE CARDS". From there you can activate those cards so they appear back on your Reserve Roster. This may or may not be a bug. It may simply be a confusing game mechanic.

This caught me off guard too after I thought I won an auction. BTW, no notice or mail to announce the auction win. I guess auction cards aren't automatically activated.

I had a guy disappear, put him up for auction, no bids on the player, have checked all lists of where I could activate him but he's disappeared. Because there's no PP log of points earned/spent and the auction ended while I was sleeping I have no idea if he got bought by ootp/sim engine or what happened.

Not a big deal as he was a 68 rating bronze 3B Villanueva, but worth mentioning.

Cards will get added to the reserve roster when you win an auction, but if between that there is a new league file, this may be overwritten, leaving the won card as inactive in the collection list. You can activate it then from there (main menu -> manage cards).
