Perhaps, although admittedly with relievers, people tend to think of the best closers' seasons of all time. Not a lot of "OMG! He was the greatest setup guy ever!" Kinda like saying "Wow, that guy on the Eagles is the best long snapper ever!"
His stats, though, look more like a closer's stats, except the W-L and the number of saves. Are you going to move him into the closer's role? He certainly has the K:IP ratio for it. |

Haha brad I agree, but the fact that he won the Cy young as a middle reliever was just very shocking to me.
I did move him to closer, and when I left the twins and took over the pirates, he eventually hit free agency and so I had to make him a big offer. |

Extremely impressive season, esp. for a LHP. Unusual and gratifying to see him rewarded with Pitcher of the Year.
