Switch Teams?

So I've been on iOOTP for a little while now and I noticed some glitch, I guess in initial setup, where I had no team assigned (regular 2012 MLB league) and had received job offers, and finally signed on with the Angels at the end of June 2012. After this, I had begun to wonder

A) Is it possible to be fired by your owner if they are angry enough by failing to meet their goals, or in the middle of an ownership change, or something?

B) Is it possible to quit my job to move to another team if I wanted to?

I have never been fired, and I had 5 years in a row trying to rebuild Houston that my owner was absolutely furious.
I have seen a page where if you go to action you can change your team. I think its when you swipe to the left and you get team options.

Manager Menu => Manager Options => under "Action" there is "Manage different Team"

I´ve never been released through 9 awful season with OAK, despite beeing the worst team auf the Mayors by a wide margin....
