European Prospects not always signing
I'm finding that it's best not to draft Europeans. They tend to wait until their mid 20s to sign contracts with my NHL club.

This is true in alot of cases, some will come over and play in the OHL or such but alot stay at home and develop for a few years. Doesnt mean you shouldnt draft them just dont count on them immediately.

I like that it's not always a sure thing that the European players will sign or sign right away, but the number seems a little bit high.

I've noticed this as well, and also that a very high number of top players are European. Russians are the main problem as they join league you cant sign from and the Finnish players never want to move to north America.
I also find they are useless in trying to make trades as well. Very annoying.

It's more accurate for Russians or players in the KHL but I agree it's not quite right for sweds, fins and other Europeans.
