Expanion FA Draft - Can I do this?

Can I expand my league by say two teams, but have the expansion teams only draft from the free agent pool?

This is an online league so effectively I'll be forcing each current GM to release a handful of players, while also adding some additional free agents to the pool.

I've been able to allocate alternating picks for the 2 new teams, but I can only change round 1 in ootp 15 it seems, when I hit "use current draft order" for all rounds, the other existing teams get put into the draft.

All help much appreciated.

If you make a dummy second league of two teams (or delete enough teams to get there), delete all the generated players, and then allow free agents from the "other" league, couldn't you then just run a free agent draft for the two team dummy league? Then you could move those two teams back to the real league, delete the dummy league.

If that works, be sure to regenerate your schedule in your main league.

Yes that would work and you wouldn't have to delete any people. If you have Minor League Teams don't forget to copy them over to.
