Anything stranger than this?

A Negro League simulation from 1921. A 28-24 game with only two hits total and 88 walks between the two teams. A bad day for algorithms?

Well, that's just crazy.
I mean, crazy things happen in baseball all the time and if you play long enough you will see some real outlier games.
But this? I don't know. Feels like something went seriously wrong here somewhere.

Actually, the next two games had ridiculous scores (36 runs on 0 hits) and things of that nature. Something must have gone wrong, so I'm scrapping it and starting over.

Kind of reminds me of the 24 inning World Series game between the 1908 Giants and 1904 NY Highlanders that I simulated right after installing OOTP. And the 36-5 pasting of the 1914 A's by the 1914 Yankees in the unlamented year I served as A's GM. Even those weren't as weird as yours.

I wonder if it had anything to do with the following:
I played Dayton in 1920, thinking that, since in real life the club moved to Columbus in 1921 that I would go along with the move. No move happened, Columbus appeared in the league, and I was stuck with a Dayton team with no league or schedule. I released all my players and resigned, signing up with Columbus. I signed a couple of my released players. No idea if that had anything to do with that wackiness or not. I guess since the Negro Leagues are "minors" those relocations don't happen, but I thought maybe the team would dissolve. Interesting.

Can't hit the ball if you don't through it over the plate.

Can't get a D in English class if you don't throw it over the plate either.
