starts every x game

Everytime i set a player to start every x game, the player starts IMMEDIATELY which is NOT what I want.

Why doen'st it trigger x number of day after making a setting change.

I also assume it applies to L or R pithcer.
So every 3rd game for L pitcher should mean the player will start 3 games later but the count only triggers for LHP.

Start every X will generally speaking look back. So start every 10 games means if he hasn't started in the last 10 games, then he should start the next one. So if you set that and he hasn't started at that position recently, then it will trigger immediately.

Thank you for the explananation.
It would be nice if there was a flag for 'from this point forward'
What happens if you change the front line starter AND the utility 1 at start every 3 games, at the same time. Does the front line starter start the next game and the utility following game even though 3 games haven't passed.

(see how it can get confusing? : )

I'd prefer an option to designate starters to be rested "every x games" and then the appropriate sub would be used but maybe the AI would have a tougher time with that. Seems like it would be preferable though since I set up my bench to play enough to rest my starters.

Huh, I figured it would just be something really simple involving the modulus, like a guy set to start every 4th game starts games 4, 8, 12, 16, and so on...
