September 21st 1894 Update

We are in the last 10 games of the regular season. In the American League, Columbus Solons have clinched the division. But over
in the National League, the road is still cloudy with the Colts and the Phillies battling it out to see who will represent the League in
the World Series.

There is another battle going on, it is a battle between Ed Delahanty of the Senators and Billy Hamilton of the Solons.
Who will be crowned the best hitter of the year?

1894 Final Standings
The Philadelphia Phillies come back and sweep the Colts to claim the National League title. Billy Hamilton barely edges out Ed Delahanty as the top hitter for the American League.
The World Series will feature the Columbus Solons against the Phillies.

Off Season

Retirements
A few notable retirees. Jack Glasscock and Jack Rowe to name a few.

Draft
An impressive list of rookie this new year. Senators are hoping on Sam Mertes contributing right away. Vic Willis decided to stay in college and was a disappointment to us. But all in all a nice class indeed.

May 6th 1895 Update

Columbus comes storming back after a slow start. Boston Red were up top then faltered. The New York Giants are patiently waiting for ace James Burke to get back to form,
he is on the DL for elbow surgery and is out until July.

Batting Stats

The .400 Club. A few notable are, Rookie Tom McCreery (Cincinnati). There are two Senators on the list, George Davis and George Van Haltren.

Pitching Stats
Here are the pitchers with 6 or more wins. The only Senators on the list is Tom Parrott. Colt's Bill Sweeney is just 5 wins away from #300.

June 10th 1895 Update
The Columbus Solons reeled off 12 straight wins to expand their lead over Louisville to 5 games. Philadelphia over in the National League has seen their lead over Chicago grow to 6.5 games.
The Senators have not fared well against Columbus, Boston, Louisville, or Baltimore, combined 10-23. But we own Cleveland at 9-1.

Batting Stats
.400 Club
The list is getting smaller and smaller.

Pitching Stats
Colt's Bill Sweeney earned his 300th win. Jack Jones (Columbus) is the pitcher to beat as he is 15-4. Senators' Tom Parrott barely makes the list at 13-8

1895 Final Standings

Columbus is crowned AL Champs again as well as Philadelphia Phillies repeating as the NL Champs. So repeat of last year's World Series. Columbus also is the League's first 100 game winner.

The quest for .400 has concluded.
