Fictional League inaugural draft
I created a fictional league with 1935 settings, and had the AI do the draft. Every team ended up with 8 pitchers and 17 hitters. Is this typical in 1935, and if not, how can i make this more realistic?

Baseball Reference is your friend. Go there. Look at rosters for 1935. Get your answer.

FWIW my fictional league is now in the mid '30's and I have settings at 8 pitchers/17 position players and allow starters to relieve. The results in terms of game starts/CG/innings distribution/number of pitchers used during the season look remarkably similar to MLB during the same period.
