Questions about changing ballparks

So I've been playing this historical simulation starting in 1901 and I'm now in the early sixties and I noticed that a lot of the teams were losing money. At first, I thought it was a consequence of the dominance of the two chicago teams who met in the World Series five times in six years, but when I started looking around I realized everybody was still playing in tiny ballparks. So I'd like to move them to the ballparks they were historically in...and I'm not finding them. The game has Huntington Avenue Grounds but not Fenway Park? That strikes me as really strange. Or am I not seeing all the ballparks available on the tab, maybe because it only loaded the ballparks into the game that existed in 1901?

I gather there are mods for ballparks, but I'd sort of assumed that they were designed to better 3-D representations of the parks rather than ways to put in the modern parks. But if I need a mod to get Fenway Park and Yankee Stadium, can I add a ballpark mod to a game that's already in progress.

Suggestions?

Do you have League Evolution turned off? I have played numerous historical sims and never had a team move not into the correct ballpark when they were supposed to.

Psstricket has a great file by year that has the dimensions and factors for all parks. Thought is was available in add ons central but it is on ootpmods.com. He also has a thread for it. As far as pre modern parks, there are not m,any 3-d parks available. Gambo has the best set of stadium photos, also on ootpmods.com.

I do because I'm playing with the historical players but not the historical teams, so it's really a fictional league. So it's not surprising in retrospect that they don't move parks on their own I guess. I suppose that getting fictional teams to demand new ballparks as the economics of the game change is beyond the A.I.. But my problem is that when I try to change them by going to, for example the Boston "Rams" team page-settings and try to change the ballpark from Huntington Avenue grounds to something else, I was expecting to get a list of possible Boston parks including Fenway. Instead I have a list of parks from all over the place that are all very small and some of them are probably fictional. Maybe because I don't have league evolution turned on, it's not making new parks available?

Thanks for the mod suggestions. The psstricket sounds good as long as I can put it into a game in progress without problems.

Even if you had a modern MLB, i dont think you would have Huntington Grounds as an option unless you started the game in that park or used it for another team.
Use Pstrickets file and you can update them quickly. Might be a way to do all parks all at once but not sure. see his thread or PM him.
