Clay Carroll spent 12 years with the Indians posting a 3.60 ERA in 433 games and 129 saves in 799 innings pitched with 348 strikeouts. He was a 2-time All Star.

For the first 2 players did you mean other players? Because they didn't show up when I searched them up.

Geez...
It is Kurt Stilwell, not the Kurt Stillings who was another could be great SS but never really did anything great, except he was in a long running fictional, SOLO lg I used to do. He was also a Cincy player in my defense.

The Paul is Householder (hey I got the house part right.....). No excuses on this one except old age and he played back in my hard core drinking days (but that covers anyone who played over a 25 yr span)

Hey that gives me an idea.......

Gotcha, both players were both before my time. Probably why I wasn't able to figure out the names.

Kurt Stillwell played 9 years for the Brewers and the O's hitting ..211/.260/.275 with 6 home runs and 114 RBIs with 277 hits.

Pail Householder played 7 years for the Mets hitting .242/.314/.373 with 37 home runs and 214 RBIs with 67 steals.

Wow! early in this thread, it was amazing to learn what Charlie Ferguson would have done had he had a full career. Are there any other surprise breakout players that you had to look back and say, "who was that?"

Also, what about Alan Trammell, Lou Whitaker, Kirk Gibson, and Jack Morris?

When you run these do you use financials? If so, do you run them straight out of the box or provide any tweaks? I'm curious as to how it works over the long haul and if any adjustments need to be made. Also curious if I make adjustments as to what some of the unintended consequences might be.

I'm interested in whether these guys had full careers and what they looked like, rather than dying tragically young:

Ken Hubbs
Lyman Bostock Jr.
Addie Joss
Don Wilson
Thurman Munson
Steve Olin
Darryl Kile
Dernell Stenson
Josh Hancock

Also, I'd like to know about my personal favorite: Willie Horton; and whether Bill Freehan makes the Hall of Fame.

Also Nick Adenhart.

I'm concerned. Yougo hasn't posted for a while.

I think this is a fun idea and if yougo1000 doesn't want to manage this anymore (which is perfectly his right), maybe I will pick up the ball and sim from 1871 to 2030 and see how things shakes out. Any objections?
